The idea of Fat Glenn's Fish was concieved in 2006. The purpose built facility is located in Lenah Valley, Hobart and stocks a small range of Cichlids, Catfish and other freshwater tropical species.
Some of these fish are bred on site, and others are sourced from mainland breeders. Every effort is made to ensure these fish are in the best of health, and are feeding on readily available foods, to give you the best chance of looking after them when you take them home.
We only sell fish, no plants, food or equipment of any sort as space is a major factor in the operation. However we would be only too happy to provide a list of retailers that can assist with these purchases.
Tasmania has strict laws regulating the sales of Freshwater Fish, and Fat Glenn's Fish has both an Aquaculture Permit and also a Fish Traders Licence.
